Reconciling your plan with reality

Reconciling sounds like accounting. In Monilibrium, most of it happens without you. Here’s the whole loop.

1

Most bills record themselves

A bill that lands on the expected day for the expected amount goes from planned to recorded on its own. You don’t confirm it — you’d only be agreeing with reality.

2

You can always see what happened

Today shows what was just recorded and what’s coming next, so a five-second glance keeps you oriented — no digging, no statements.

3

Step in when reality differed

Electric was $91.42 instead of about $85? Type the real number. Paid two days late? Move the date. Same sheet, five seconds.

4

The plan absorbs it

The projection redraws instantly and Safe to Spend is honest again. There is no month-end cleanup — there was never a backlog to begin with.

Tip:

Skipped a payment entirely? Mark it skipped — pretending it happened is the one thing the plan can’t absorb.
